Siddur - Special Edition סדור App Reviews

Incessantly asks you to upgrade

Bombards you with requests to upgrade There are plenty of better siddur apps. Dont put up with nonsense like this

Good app, but.....

I just wish there was a way to bookmark the Tehilim chapter you are up to. Also I dont see any tefillah for before OR after Tehilim. I feel this is an important part that is missing!

Horrible

It causes before I can read the first page

Nag screens!

I would just love to recommend this program, but the nag screens to get you to upgrade, are absolutely way too intrusive to enjoy the experience. There are 3 confusing popups just to use any of the pages and then a popup every time you change between one of the books. Changing between books is quite slow too. Text looks very nice though and it well done. Either charge right off the bat for a fully working program or reduce the nags screens.

Suggestion to improve app

Suggestion: loading shacharis is very slow. Make an upgrade so selecting shacharis takes you to a menu (morning brachos, pesukei dezimra, shema, Torah service, aleinu, etc.) Then people can find the part of the service they want without having to scroll thru the whole thing and each section will load faster. Thanks!

Pop Up purchases

You can not count to three without a pop up for a paid upgrade. Most difficult app to deal with, you will upgrade or delete it, keeping the free version is not an option.

Ridiculous. Asks if you want to update every 5 seconds.

Like someone else wrote. Either youll update or delete. It is annoying. Same content available elsewhere completely free.

Not what I hoped for

The nusach air is not chabad like it says in the program. Very slow to load

Very intrusive

Would have considered paying 99c but they pissed me off and I deleted it.

Nagware

This could have been a wonderful app. However, like many of the other reviewers are saying, youll either "upgrade or delete it." It has a popup on nearly every screen trying to coerce you into upgrading. Its so annoying Ive only had it 5 mins and am already considering deleting it. I wouldnt have minded paying 99¢ for the upgrade if it was just a limited version or something. However, the nagware is NOT appreciated.

Really?

Nags and crashes! Sad.

It needs holiday dovoning

I really love this app and I hope to see holidays on it

Ridiculous upgrade attempts

Be carefully with this one. The SE version is so inundated with upgrade dialogues that (1) it is almost unusable and (2) there is a good chance you might be manipulated into upgrading without realizing it. This seriously needs to be toned down, it is way beyond the pale of other apps.

Good helpful product

I greatly enjoy this product, and mostly use the Jerusalem compass for my prayer times. I am urgently waiting for the English translations for the siddur and Torah so that I may more greatly use this tool.

Poor formatting

Poor formatting makes it hard to read. Nag screens keep me from using it even when I need it. Avoid.

Run Away

Awkward layout. Ap is constantly throwing pop-ups at you trying to pester you into buying theBanner Free version or some other mess. Avoid this Ap

Ok

It was useful when I had to daven athorwise eh

Free Edition is a Waste of Time

If you download the free edition, you will receive constant pop ups asking you to upgrade. In my opinion, app designers should not eve bother creating a free edition if they plan to attack the users with incessant pleas to pay $.99 to buy the full featured edition! I love the thought of this app, though. Hmm. Perhaps I will just spend the $.99. :)

Truth abt the app

The truth about the app is that when you first enter it, it does prompt you for an upgrade, twice. Which is once more then necessary. Also be careful that you dont accidentally hit upgrade. Other then that, once you enter the siddur, tehillim, etc. you are free to pray peacefully and will not be prompted again by popups. The app is a great app especially considering its free, and just be aware its annoying on startup and then fine.

Its good, but needs holidays!

I like what Ive seen so far, but I needed this app for Pessach (siddurim are hard to come by in SF on a college budget) and its not that helpful with regards to getting my holiday prayers in. Otherwise, this app is super useful
